Finding a suitable “Save The Date” card is quite the challenge…

There are cards, and postcards, and blank cards, and magnets, and 100 different styles of each. I think we’re at the point where we need to make a decision and go with it rather than keep looking, because we could definitely keep looking, and finding things we like. Which wouldn’t help in the “getting things done” department.

We’ll try to post a photo here when we have it. That is, when we decide on it…

We’ve been trying to find a caterer for the shindig, which is proving to be…. um, interesting…

At least one caterer provided a lovely tasting for us, a meal really, letting us sample all different foods, and outlining exactly how they do things. They showed us photos, and gave me chocolate milk, and overall did a great presentation of their services.

Then there was “dirty fingernail guy” who told us about some “ham spread” he makes with pickles and mayo, and had us sit in his dingy office that looked liked it was last cleaned when The Empire Strikes Back was released. He said they don’t really do tastings. Oh, and he started out his “presentation” by asking us the question “Now what?” Come on!

So the catering of the food issue is, if anything, an adventure…
